Our Values
Transparency
We don't hide behind sales teams. You'll work directly with us. We keep you updated on the status of our work, and when you have questions, our team will always be happy to answer them.
Dependability
Software shouldn't be fragile – your app shouldn't need an annual rewrite. We make technical decisions with the long-term in mind so that we can keep hosting and maintaining your software as long as it continues to deliver value for you.
Flexibility
We don't have a one-size-fits-all approach to development. Like the monstera plant which adapts its leaves based on ambient light conditions, we adapt our strategy to solve your problems.
In-House Excellence
We're proud of our local Colorado community and its strong ecosystem of local talent. We believe that our best work stems from a deep understanding of our client's needs, so we don't outsource your project to other countries. You can count on us to be your ongoing partner as your needs evolve.
Inclusion
Everyone deserves a seat at the table. We're committed to building a diverse team and an inclusive environment by being intentional about who we hire and holding each other to a high standard.
Modern, Stable Tech
We use industry-standard tools and technologies to build your software, and we think intentionally about our choices. While we stay up-to-date on industry trends, we know that bleeding-edge technology isn't always the best solution to your problem.
Why the name Monstera?
We love the monstera deliciosa plant. Native to the tropical rainforests of Central America, most people know this as the houseplant with the "swiss cheese" leaves. When monstera grows in high-light environments, its leaves split and develop holes to allow light to pass through to the lower leaves. This adaptation helps it thrive in densely-forested areas where light may be hard to come by.
The monstera plant is easy to propagate via cuttings, it thrives indoors and outdoors, and it helps to clean the air we breathe. If you're an indoor gardener, it's easy to get along with a monstera. To us, this species represents growth, adaptability, and stability. We strive to embody these qualities in our work and our relationships with our clients.
